I wanted to give you a quick overview of what you need to do yourself to play bigger.
To build your Ideal Business.
It really comes down to three steps.
Step One: You have to think it’s possible.
Some things just aren’t on our radar.
Our thinking is too small.
I couldn’t have imagined doing some of the things I’ve been fortunate enough to do back when I was graduating high school or even college.
You’ve got to put yourself in situations where you expand what you think is possible.
In fact, it’s often been said that everything happens twice.
First, when you visualize yourself doing something…then when you actually achieve that goal.
Step Two: You need to have a plan.
If you have a goal…you need to set that as your destination and then develop a map to get there.
That’s your plan.
Without a plan, I suppose there is the possibility that you could accidentally find your way to the destination you want…but I wouldn’t like your chances.
But if you have a plan in place – then all of your efforts can be directed to your target.
You can actually do less and achieve more…because you’ll eliminate so much of the wasted effort.
But…don’t think I’m saying that with a plan you don’t have to work. That’s when #3 comes in…
Step Three: You need to work the plan.
You need to move toward your goals.
Some days it might feel like you’re inching forward and other days it might feel like you’re taking massive leaps.
But if you know that what you want is a mile down the road, directly in front of you…then you’ll be far less likely going to the left and to the right.
You’ll be much, much more focused on going forward.
So the next time you start thinking about what you actually want begin asking yourself these questions:
- Do you really, truly think it’s possible?
- Do you have a solid plan to get there?
- What did you do in the past week to ‘work the plan’?
My guess is that if you’re not where you want to be or on the fast track to getting there…one of those questions will show you what the issue is.
And if you aren’t coming up with the answers you want…and you’d like my help with getting you on track, just let me know.
