Mike Reinold – Show Notes
Mike Reinold is a physical therapist, strength and conditioning coach and performance enhancement specialist. After working for many years with such prestigious organizations such as The Boston Red Sox, The American Sports Medicine Institute, and Massachusetts General Hospital, he founded Champion Physical Therapy and Performance in Boston, MA. At Champion, they help people feel better, move better, and perform better with an integrated approach to physical therapy, fitness, and sports performance. Champion also features an acclaimed baseball performance program in their amazing baseball training facility.
Mike has always operated from a “what is best for the client” type of business model and says it is the whole foundation of his business.
He notes that during his time with the Boston Red Sox a work-life balance just didn’t exist. Mike had some foresight about wanting to establish himself outside of the professional baseball scene, which led him to opening his gym.
“I wanted to be able to create a business and provide a similar experience to the general public”
When Mike first opened Champion, he had no clients and struggled with the fact that he was responsible for the livelihood of his employees. To overcome this, he surrounded himself with great mentors and just kept learning as he went.
